Machine Operator

About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be part of the team responsible for manufacturing extruded silicone seals and gaskets. You’ll work with specialist machines to produce high-quality parts used in industries where quality and reliability are essential.

You don’t need experience to start – we’ll train you. You’ll begin as a Level 1 Operator and can progress through Levels 2 to 4 as you learn more skills and take on more responsibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate extrusion machines to produce silicone profiles, seals, and gaskets
  • Prepare tooling and materials for production runs
  • Cut, join, or finish parts according to specifications
  • Check parts meet quality standards during and after production
  • Keep machines and work areas clean, tidy, and safe
  • Report any issues to a supervisor quickly
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals
  • Follow company procedures for quality and safety

What We’re Looking For

  • A good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable using tools and machinery (training provided)
  • Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a bonus, but not essential

Interest in manufacturing/factory work, production etc. computer literate (Excel, Word, we use an Access database), willingness to learn. Full in-house training will be provided.

Hours – Mon-Fri –  – 6:00am – 14:30pm

  • 40 hours per week 6:00-14:30 and 14:00-22:30 bi weekly work pattern.
  • Staring at £12.21/hr.
