Established High Street Law Practice Seeking an Experienced Assistant to Support a Busy Yet Friendly Conveyancing Team.

If you have prior / current experience dealing with residential conveyancing matters, a good grasp of the terminology general processes and would enjoy working closely with a very competent small team, this firm would like to speak to you!

The partners are looking for a professional, friendly and organised individual to provide key support on conveyancing matters including sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, transfer of equity, remortgages and other transactional work. Day to day duties would include:

  • Dealing with initial enquiries on sale and purchase files
  • Due Diligence / AML / compliance and risk requirements
  • Managing various documents in relation to the transaction e.g. client, other solicitors, HMLR, Search Providers Lenders etc
  • Drafting sale contracts and re-mortgage documentation
  • General administrative support, file handling, opening /closing
  • Managing file progress . updating all concerned parties
  • Case Management (LEAP)

The role is based close to Worthing in a high street locations, the role offers a competitive salary, good offices to work in and operate a 9-5 working week with good annual leave (25days) and also close over the festive period.
