This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming team in a collaborative business environment, with the flexibility of hybrid working. You'll play a key role in ensuring the finance function runs smoothly, supporting business performance through accurate reporting, insight, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete monthly management accounts and dashboards
- Own day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records
- Lead on nominal ledger postings including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, currency conversions, and general journals
- Track and manage fixed assets, including recording disposals and recognition of additions
- Produce monthly budget vs actual variance analysis
- Manage cashflow forecasting and day-to-day cash management
- Complete VAT returns and oversee customs compliance for the UK entity
- Partner with operational teams to support performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement
- Work closely with the Head of Finance on both routine processes and ad hoc projects
