Accounts Payable Clerk- Liverpool 

Resourcery Group are pleased to be exclusively supporting a reputable and esteemed education provider in North Liverpool who are looking for a Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. 

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for all the activities across the Accounts Payable function.

Job Duties:
  • Processing invoices and expense claims
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Responding to vendor inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Supporting the other transactional functions when required.
  • Ad hoc duties 
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum of AAT qualification or equivalent in accounting or finance
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Some knowledge of VAT regulations
