Description
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Supplier statement reconcilliations.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Credit control and sales ledger duties.
- Purchase ledger duties.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Supporting the finance department with any ad-hoc tasks.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
