Assistant Operational Accountant
Liverpool City Centre (based on-site)
Up to £35k dependent on experience
Delighted to be exclusively partnered with an exciting, dynamic and growing Financial Services company in Liverpool City Centre. Searching for an Assistant Accountant to help with the Operational/Treasury side of finance.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for somebody to work alongside an award-winning Financial Controller and really develop their financial skill-set.
No two days will be the same in this role and it really can be what you make it.
Key Duties:
- Review weekly/daily profit & loss statements providing detailed business commentary including variance analysis.
- Undertake nominal ledger tasks including processing of journals, nominal ledger cross-charges and period end reconciliations.
- Provide detailed analysis to operations of key business performance drivers and internal reporting trend analysis.
- Prepare Balance Sheet Summary with supporting reconciliations, identifying financial risk/opportunity.
- Take responsibility for the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Treasury management.
- Monitor Aged Debt & Un-invoiced revenue ensuring they align with Business accepted levels.
- Liaise with external auditors as part of the audit process ensuring provision of information is supplied in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve customer and company reporting processes and procedures.

This role will be office-based in Liverpool City Centre.
