My client, a growing manufacturer in the Northwest has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded Mechanical Design Engineer. Working within this well-established company you will be responsible for design across the full product life cycle. The company is experiencing a continued increase in business, and this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a position with long term development opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Cradle to grave product design
- Assembling prototypes, testing, logging data correctly and reviewing
- Creation of design specifications
- Liaise with other R&D/Marketing/Production Departments
- Create BOM lists
- Report on Project progress
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of Engineering Design System (3D CAD)
- Specific experience with 3D Solidworks is advantageous
- Knowledge of MS Project or similar
- Worked within design for manufacture and assembly
