We are on the lookout for a talented Quality Engineer with a keen eye for detail to join our Engineering & Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality and efficiency standards.

Description

  • Overseeing the development of manufacturing processes.
  • Conducting routine inspections and quality tests.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Ensuring products meet customer expectations and legal standards.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to brainstorm solutions to quality issues.
  • Participating in the design and modification of product prototypes.
  • Analysing quality control data and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Reporting to management on quality standard issues.

Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the industrial / manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of core quality tools including FMEA, APQP, SPC, MSA & PPAP
  • An understanding of lean techniques and methodologies
  • An ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Operation of a CMM / Faro arm
  • Ability / experience with Polyworks
