Are you a skilled technical professional with a passion for facilities and engineering services? We're looking for a Facilities Supervisor to lead the delivery of hard services and infrastructure support at a high-performing manufacturing site in Liverpool.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, technically focused role within the Facilities Management team, with a strong emphasis on hard services. You'll support the Facilities Lead in overseeing mechanical, electrical, and utilities systems, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational excellence across the site.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supervising facilities maintenance, modification, and expansion projects
- Managing contractors and internal teams across mechanical, electrical, and building services
- Leading safe systems of work (e.g. permit to work, hot works, access control)
- Ensuring compliance with EHS standards including Legionella, Fire Safety, COSHH, and Emergency Lighting
- Supporting lifecycle capital projects and small works delivery
- Monitoring performance metrics for facilities service providers
- Maintaining high standards in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
What We're Looking For
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Desirable)
- 3-5 years' experience in Facilities Management or technical maintenance (Essential)
- IOSH/NEBOSH Managing Safely certification (Essential)
- Strong commercial and budgetary awareness
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Knowledge of cGMP and experience in FDA-regulated environments
