My client, a highly-respected, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their already-established team of specialist consultants, near the culturally-diverse, historically-significant city of Liverpool.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant qualification)
  • Demonstrable experience of having worked in an infrastructure role
  • Experience of having worked in a design-based role, within a consultancy setting
  • Excellent working knowledge of flood risk and drainage design, with experience of having authored Flood Risk Assessments and produced Drainage Strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Good knowledge of adoptable highways and design
  • Extensive knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S38, S278, S104, etc.) and their applications within the industry
  • Competent in the use of the relevant software packages, including XP Solutions (MicroDrainage) and Civils3D

It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Civil Infrastructure Engineer to possess the following skills:

  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Good analytical mindset and excellent technical skills
  • Outstanding standard of written English, particularly when applied to report writing

  • Producing flood risk and drainage strategies, authoring Flood Risk Assessments, and producing adoptable drainage designs

  • Authoring, reviewing, and refining technical reports and drawings, and producing calculations
  • Collaboratively working with individuals and teams across a variety of other disciplines
