Key responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:
- Lead and deliver on major refurbishments, technical due diligence, and dilapidations instructions
- Advise and influence landlords, tenants, investors, and occupiers with clear, commercially astute guidance
- Take ownership of PPMs, defect analysis, and commercial building surveys with precision and impact
- Collaborate across disciplines, working alongside some of the best in the industry
- Build long-term relationships, driving growth and shaping the future of the practice
Requirements:
- MRICS qualified, ideally with 1-2 years' PQE
- Track record as lead consultant, contract administrator, or employer's agent
- Excellent communicator, able to inspire trust and credibility
- Strong technical expertise across dilapidations, TDD, and PPMs
- Commercially minded, detail-focused, and confident working independently
- Flexible to travel across the UK (full driving licence required)
