In this role, you'll assess learners' competence in workplace settings and at the training centre, ensuring skills and knowledge meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical maintenance, manufacturing, or production environments with solid hands-on experience in installation, fault-finding, and testing. You'll be passionate about helping others. Teaching or assessing experience is not required.

The Role:

  • Assess apprentices' competence in electrical maintenance and installation.

The Person:

  • Time-served Electrical Engineer or Maintenance Electrician (industrial/manufacturing/production).
  • Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems, fault-finding, and compliance.
  • Excellent communicator with a mentoring mindset.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Teaching/assessing quals not required - full training provided.
