Are you an experienced Construction Estimator with a passion for setting up and leading your own team? We are looking for a proactive and skilled Estimator to join this business, in what will (initially be) a standalone role, with the potential to expand the team over the coming years. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the Estimating team and make a significant impact in the business
Based in Liverpool City Centre, this business operates as a Main Contractor and specialises in projects across Construction, including New Build & Maintenance across a variety of sectors
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Estimating department from the ground up
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Work on tenders up to 2m in value
- Price tenders accurately and competitively to win new business
- Implement and manage estimating software, and ideally have experience using Conquest
- Engage in business development activities to identify and secure new opportunities
You will have:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator
- Proficiency in Conquest software or similar estimating tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in pricing tenders and business development
- Ability to potentially mentor and grow the team
