We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Manager to join our dynamic team.
Key to the role is experience of working within the water industry and specifically water utilities companies
The role is offered with a a salary of 60 - 70K depending on experience
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the proposal development process, ensuring that all submissions are compelling, compliant, and tailored to meet client needs. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial planning to final submission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical experts, to gather necessary information for proposals.
- Ensure all proposals are aligned with company standards and client requirements.
- Review and edit proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
- Manage timelines and coordinate resources to ensure timely delivery of proposals.
- Maintain a repository of proposal templates and best practices for future reference.
- Utilise Salesforce and other CRM software to track proposal progress and manage client interactions.
- Conduct post-submission reviews to identify areas for improvement in future proposals.
Skills
- Proven experience in proposal management or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM software is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
