We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning and Development Manager/People Development Manager to help shape our learning culture. In this role, you'll support and empower colleagues across the business by designing and delivering engaging development initiatives that support performance, personal growth, and long-term success.

Location: Flexible within the UK- Merseyside

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) with hybrid working

Salary: Up to £50,000

Contract Type: Permanent

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with HR and operational teams to build capability, nurture talent, and drive a positive, high-performing culture. You'll work closely with the HR Director and onsite trainers, supporting our teams through both strategic initiatives and day-to-day learning support.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting and delivering our people development strategy in line with business needs
  • Coaching and mentoring individuals and managers at all levels
  • Creating and delivering practical e learning programs across a range of topics
  • Managing the full learning cycle, including apprenticeship and graduate development
  • Overseeing the LMS and ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Supporting onsite trainers with SOP and factory-based training needs
  • Contributing to performance and talent development activities such as PDRs (Performance Development Reviews) and succession planning
  • Working with key stakeholders and external partners to build a strong learning network and talent pipeline

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in a learning and development or people-focused role
  • FMCG experience
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to lead a team of on-site trainers
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. CIPD L&D Level 3 or 5, Train the Trainer, PETLS) or equivalent experience
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A creative and engaging approach to learning design and delivery
  • Confidence using Learning Management Systems or e-learning systems
  • Power skills knowledge
  • Knowledge of leadership models
  • A genuine passion for helping others grow and succeed
