Data Engineer - Liverpool, 5 days a week on-site - Outside IR35

Our client is seeking a skilled Contract Data Engineer to assist with a NetSuite implementation over the next six months. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful migration and integration of there data systems.

Key Skills Wanted:

  • NetSuite implementation experience (primary need).
  • ERP data migration experience.
  • Big Query / Looker Studio experience (secondary need). This relates to responsibility 11 above, where assistance with BAU tasks is required when project work is minimal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical lead on data migration and BI workstream of the NetSuite ERP implementation.
  • Collaborate with the project team to advance the data elements of the project towards successful delivery.
  • Assess the quality of source data in existing systems.
  • Define and document data mappings between source systems and NetSuite.
  • Utilise NetSuite templates to prepare data for upload.
  • Conduct trial uploads of agreed data sets into NetSuite.
  • Execute the data migration during the "go live" weekend.
  • Resolve any data-related defects.
  • Contribute to business change and decision-making related to data, such as determining what data to capture and how to manage it.
  • Progress BI deliverables within NetSuite, including defining requirements, configuring, and building BI solutions.
  • Assist with additional data and BI tasks in the E-Commerce team.
