Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated Level 3-qualified Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN in a Reception class at a welcoming primary school in Kirkby. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in education.
Your Role:As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Reception, you will:
- Provide personalised support to help a child with SEN engage in learning.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
- Assist with classroom activities that promote development and inclusion.
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment that encourages social and emotional growth.
- Maintain strong communication with school staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback on the child's development.
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
- Experience supporting children with SEN in a UK primary school setting (UK experience is essential).
- Understanding of early childhood development and SEN support strategies.
- Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Competitive pay - £85 per day (dependent on experience).
