The School and Role

This large, two-form entry school in Litherland Sefton, are looking to appoint a nurturing and dedicated Nursery Assistant to support in the nursery class on a part-time basis. The role will start at the beginning of the next academic year in September 2025, working 3 days per week and will be ongoing. The school are extremely proud of their multi-cultural environment and aim for each and every child to be recognised and respected for being a unique individual. The school strive for all pupils to leave with key Maths and English skills and as masters of technology who are equipped for a digital world. They are refining their curriculum in a joined-up way ensuring that teachers know what their colleagues are teaching, when and why. This is a long-term role with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.


Requirements

  • The desired Nursery Assistant will have;
  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
