Your new companyHays Education are supporting a South Liverpool primary school who are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic nursery Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development.

Your new role
* Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
* Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
* Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
* Provide one-on-one support to children with additional needs.
* Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with the teaching team.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Working hours for this role are 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday but additional wraparound hours are available.

What you'll need to succeed
* A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
* Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, caring, and creative approach to working with children.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
