Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children's learning and development? We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and inclusive primary and secondary schools across South Liverpool. Both full-time and part-time positions are available to suit your availability.

About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will work under the guidance of class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils both academically and emotionally. Whether providing one-to-one support, assisting small groups, or working across the classroom, your role will be vital in helping children thrive in their learning environment.

We are looking for individuals who are confident, patient, and committed to supporting the educational progress of pupils, including those with additional needs. You may be working in early years, key stage 1 or key stage 2, depending on your experience and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in the delivery of high-quality learning

  • Work with pupils individually and in small groups to reinforce learning

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive participation

  • Provide additional support to children with special educational needs (SEN)

  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable

  • A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine passion for working with children

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
