Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | 4-Day Week | 48k+ Package

The Opportunity Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Mechanical Maintenance Technician who prefers solving root-cause issues rather than just "patching" machines?

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a specialist manufacturing site in Liverpool.

What You'll Be Doing Working within a tight-knit engineering team, you will:

  • Maintain and optimise high-pressure systems, including pumps, valves, and regulators.
  • Lead mechanical project installations and equipment modifications.
  • Diagnose complex faults and implement long-term reliability fixes.
  • Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement across the shop floor.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Background: Solid experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
  • Skillset: A proven track record with mechanical systems (pumps and valves are essential).

The Package

  • Earnings: 20.50 - 22.90 per hour + 71/week allowance (43k - 48k+ total).
