We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced Qualified Electrician to join a growing electrical contractor based in Liverpool. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary, company van, and excellent benefits. The position involves a wide variety of domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical work, with some projects requiring regional travel and occasional overnight stays-accommodation and expenses are fully covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical installations and maintenance, including rewires, consumer unit upgrades, lighting systems, and fault diagnosis
- Perform EICR inspections, landlord safety checks, and issue electrical certification
- Install and commission EV charging points, LED lighting systems, and structured cabling
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to ensure systems are safe and compliant
- Adhere to all Health & Safety standards, customer service policies, and project specifications
- Complete job documentation and certification accurately using company systems
Requirements
- BS7671 - 18th Edition (minimum 2 years post-qualification)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (JIB Gold Card/AM2 preferred)
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable - training can be provided)
- Experience using online certification systems (e.g. EasyCert or similar)
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required (all expenses paid)
