We are looking for a detail-driven Payroll Analyst to join a collaborative Payroll function within a progressive, fast-paced business. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely weekly payrolls and supporting broader payroll and benefits operations.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you'll be a proactive team player, confident with high-volume payroll processing, system reconciliations, and internal stakeholder support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and in line with internal deadlines
  • Import, validate, and reconcile data from Time & Attendance systems
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in pre-payroll reports
  • Maintain flexible benefits data and resolve queries promptly
  • Manage and respond to payroll queries via dedicated inboxes
  • Support monthly payroll runs and year-end reporting (e.g. P60s, FPS, EPS)
  • Ensure all records are updated and maintained in compliance with GDPR
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure benefit adjustments and payroll data are accurate and timely
  • Continuously improve payroll processes and support system testing when needed
  • Keep up to date with current payroll legislation and ensure compliance

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience in a payroll environment (weekly payroll experience desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ideally experience in SAP (not essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • A collaborative team player with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
