Your new companyHays are working with a prominent housing association in the Liverpool area to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner for 6 months. Your new role

  • You will be the designated Business Partner for the Property Directorate providing support and training on a range of financial related issues
  • You will further develop a new reporting regime for monitoring the financial performance of the repairs service, including in-house property service operations.
  • You will lead on the monthly general ledger close-down for repairs ensuring that all reconciliations, accruals, journals and expense code reviews comply with robust procedures.
  • You will evaluate and report on the financial performance of the small in-house maintenance service.
  • You will play a key role in the production of the 5-year business plan, annual budget and produce a budget submission report with each budget holder for all designated areas
  • You will hold regular meetings with budget holders and produce and distribute management information and reports, including presenting findings to the Director of the service for discussion at monthly management meetings.
  • You will assist with the preparation of quarterly property board reports.
  • You will assist other team members Finance & Procurement services.
  • The role may develop to include line management responsibilities.
