Adele Carr Recruitment is proud to be partnering with an award-winning, high-growth business in Liverpool who are seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to join their expanding team.

This newly created role is a direct result of sustained growth and will play a pivotal part in strengthening the finance function. You'll lead day-to-day operations, drive month-end close, and bring clarity and confidence to financial reporting.

The ideal applicant will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), with leadership experience who enjoys coaching others whilst supporting the development of the team.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Support the FD, FC, and SLT with accurate financial insight
  • Leading and developing the accounts team, ensuring robust processes are in place
  • Prepare management accounts, variance analysis, cash flow, and P&L
  • Oversee AP, AR, treasury, and daily finance operations
  • Manage VAT returns, year-end reporting, and liaise with auditors, HMRC, and banks

The ideal applicant, will be:

  • A fully qualified, chartered accountant. (finalist will be considered).
  • Proven leadership experience and a passion for coaching others
  • A track record of working in fast-paced environments
  • Confidence in managing month-end, year-end, and audit cycles
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
  • The ability to partner across departments, including non-finance stakeholders
  • A natural drive to improve processes and deliver results
