Finance Manager (Full or Part-time) – Liverpool - £45,000 to £55,000 FTE + Benefits

We are working with a growing and entrepreneurial business based in Liverpool and we are looking for a Finance Manager to support the Owner of the business in providing strategic and financial information to help with informed decision making.

You will play a key role in financial planning, reporting and analysis, ensuring the continued success of the business.

  • End to end production of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting pack to strict deadlines
  • Budgeting and forecasting producing the companies annual budget and rolling forecasts
  • Producing annual accounts
  • Produce a monthly P&L with variance analysis & commentary
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Journals - accruals, prepayments and depreciation
  • Producing a wide range of statistical reports to help with key decision making
  • Oversee payroll
  • Check & authorise supplier payment runs and any ad hoc payments
  • Liaise with external advisors

Skills/ attributes:

  • Ideally you will be a fully qualified / part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Strong QBE candidates will be considered
  • Excellent strong Excel skills essential
  • Experience of working in a SME would be beneficial
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
