Senior Finance Manager 

Liverpool £60-65,000

Resourcery Group are working with a large, market leading business in Liverpool as they look to hire a new Senior Finance Manager. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well established team and a very profitable business at a time of growth. The Senior Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Director to drive business performance and manage a small but capable finance team. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting, championing finance across the business while enhancing controls and driving automation.

Our client has modern offices in the heart of Liverpool but has also embraced hybrid working. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the GM & Finance Director to deliver high-impact reporting and insight
  • Preparing accurate management accounts, including variance analysis
  • Manage financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Supervise and develop the accounting team, ensuring high performance.
  • Ensure efficient cash flow management and financial planning.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
  • Support the organisation in achieving its financial and operational goals.

Key Requirements 

  • A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and within a team
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, and performance-driven
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
