The School and the Role
Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Bootle, L20, who are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Classroom Teacher to join their team. This full-time role is designed for individuals looking to take their first step into teaching, gaining hands-on classroom experience while receiving high-quality support and training.
You will play a key role in delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting students across a range of subjects. As part of the school community, you will benefit from excellent resources, ongoing training, and guidance from experienced staff.
This is an ongoing role with a start date of December 2025, and there is potential for the position to become permanent.
Role Responsibilities

Deliver and supervise pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4

Maintain a calm, positive, and productive classroom environment

Support students with accessing learning and staying engaged

Implement school behaviour policies and support individual needs

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders
Requirements

Experience in coaching, tutoring, youth work, mentoring, or childcare

A passion for education and supporting young people

Confidence in managing groups of students

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
