Actions Against the Police Solicitor 

This long-established, full-service law firm in  Liverpool city centre has an exciting opening for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its dedicated Actions Against the Police department.

The specialist team has a strong reputation in the industry for its Actions Against the Police offering and due to an influx of new work, the firm is seeking to expand the existing team. The team deals with an array of claims against policing authorities, including wrongful arrest, false imprisonment, unlawful detention, human rights breaches, etc.

The firm also manages civil liberty cases and you will be given the chance to act on a range of issues alongside your core Police work. You will be given responsibility for your own caseload that you'll manage from instruction through to completion.

You will be a qualified Solicitor (1-5 years PQE+), with previous experience dealing with litigation claims until conclusion – as the bulk of your caseload will be litigated.
