 Position: Locum Adult Social Care LawyerOrganisation: North West Local AuthorityDuration: 3 months +Working Pattern: Full timeWorking Arrangement: Ideally Hybrid working, can be flexible with Remote workingHourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and can demonstrate knowledge of Adult Social Care matters. Duties may include:
- Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Adult Social Care Legislation, including, but not limited to, Court of Protection, Section 21a, Section 16 and Designation matters
- Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives
- To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters
- Represent the Council in court and may need to conduct advocacy when required
- To cover and manage Back Log
