Assistant Bids Manager
We're working with a well-regarded law firm to find an Assistant Bids Manager to join their growing business development function. This role will suit someone with strong experience supporting bids or proposals, particularly within a professional services or legal environment, who is keen to take ownership of end-to-end pitch activity.
You'll work closely with sector and practice-area BD teams to coordinate, develop, and refine pitches and proposals, while helping to maintain pitch infrastructure and content. There's a strong focus on collaboration, commercial outcomes, and continuous improvement, with the chance to shape pitch processes and contribute strategically.
The team is collaborative, progression-focused, and has a strong reputation internally. This role could suit an experienced Bids Executive or Senior Bids Executive looking to step up, or someone already operating at Assistant Manager level.
Key experience:
Proven experience managing and supporting pitches within a professional services or legal environment
Excellent content creation and editing skills
Collaborative approach with the confidence to engage stakeholders across business areas
Strong understanding of pitch infrastructure, content libraries, and commercial best practice
Experience with pricing discussions and reporting on outcomes is a bonus
Salary: 40,000-50,000
Location: Hybrid working, Liverpool
