Assistant Bids Manager

We're working with a well-regarded law firm to find an Assistant Bids Manager to join their growing business development function. This role will suit someone with strong experience supporting bids or proposals, particularly within a professional services or legal environment, who is keen to take ownership of end-to-end pitch activity.

You'll work closely with sector and practice-area BD teams to coordinate, develop, and refine pitches and proposals, while helping to maintain pitch infrastructure and content. There's a strong focus on collaboration, commercial outcomes, and continuous improvement, with the chance to shape pitch processes and contribute strategically.

The team is collaborative, progression-focused, and has a strong reputation internally. This role could suit an experienced Bids Executive or Senior Bids Executive looking to step up, or someone already operating at Assistant Manager level.

Key experience:

  • Proven experience managing and supporting pitches within a professional services or legal environment

  • Excellent content creation and editing skills

  • Collaborative approach with the confidence to engage stakeholders across business areas

  • Strong understanding of pitch infrastructure, content libraries, and commercial best practice

  • Experience with pricing discussions and reporting on outcomes is a bonus

Salary: 40,000-50,000
Location: Hybrid working, Liverpool
