Catastrophic Injury Associate – 1-5 PQELocation: Liverpool (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days WFH)Salary: £40,000–£55,000 DOE + Bonus + Excellent BenefitsAn international law firm is looking to recruit a Catastrophic Injury Associate (1–5 years PQE) to join its growing team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a defendant personal injury solicitor ready to step into more complex work – or a claimant solicitor seeking to move into a leading defendant practice.You’ll be joining a collaborative and highly regarded team, working alongside Legal 500-recognised Partners on high-value, complex matters, including RTA, EL/PL, and indemnity claims. With a clear route to progression and a genuinely supportive culture, this is an ideal role for someone looking to deepen their expertise in large loss work.What you’ll be doing:
  • Handling your own caseload of Catastrophic Injury files (with support as needed)
  • Assisting senior colleagues on high-value catastrophic injury claims
  • Involvement in liability investigations, policy coverage analysis, and quantum assessments
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
What we’re looking for:
  • 1–5 years PQE, with experience in defendant personal injury
  • Claimant background also welcome, if you’re keen to transition to defendant work
  • A confident communicator who’s commercially minded and client-focused
