Your new companyOur client is a well-regarded claimant firm based in Liverpool city centre. They are currently recruiting for a Costs Draftsperson or Lawyer to join on a hybrid working basis. Your new roleThis Costs Draftsperson or Lawyer role will see you responsible for a caseload of multi-track and fixed costs disputes primarily resulting from road traffic accidents. You will draft bills of costs and estimates of costs, prepare precedent H budgets, N260 costs schedules and points of disputes and deal with Part 8 matters and fixed costs disputes. This role will see you negotiate costs and attend hearings, including CCMC and detailed assessments.What you'll need to succeedYou must have experience as a costs draftsperson or be a qualified costs lawyer and have excellent knowledge of CPR and case law. This role requires experience preparing new electronic bills and a successful record of dealing with high-value multi-track cases. Due to the requirement of negotiating in this role, you must have previous experience negotiating disputes and excellent communication skills.
