Job Description:

We are excited to be recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to begin their teaching career in a nurturing environment with strong mentoring in place.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their teaching practice, work alongside experienced colleagues, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess, track, and support pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards completing ECT induction
  • A passion for teaching and supporting pupil development
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow professionally
  • A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
