An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on, electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our client's dedicated maintenance team at a dynamic and fast-paced industrial facility.This varied role includes planned preventative maintenance, first-level reactive support, diagnostics, and upkeep of maintenance systems and documentation.

The role:
  • Execute both scheduled and condition-based preventative maintenance on a wide range of electro-mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Carry out first-line diagnostics, repairs, and fault resolution in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement engineering improvements, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Engage third-party services when required.
  • Conduct risk assessments on electro-mechanical systems in partnership with the Engineering Manager and Health & Safety personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records using the site's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Manage inventory, including cataloguing and periodic audits of technical spare parts and consumables.
  • Coordinate with external contractors as required.
  • Participate in relevant training and development to maintain and enhance technical competence.

The candidate:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Familiarity with PLC logic and programming principles.
  • Ability to interpret and work from electrical and mechanical schematic drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong analytical and fault-finding abilities.
