About the Role

We are recruiting for a leading organisation seeking a Sales Director to drive its commercial strategy across the UK and support future international growth. This is a senior leadership position with significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence the long-term direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the UK sales strategy to meet business objectives

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities

  • Strengthen sales processes, account management, and customer engagement

  • Manage key strategic accounts to ensure growth and retention

Candidate Experience & Skills
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering successful sales strategies

  • Strong leadership experience, capable of inspiring and developing teams

  • Demonstrated success in new business development and key account management

  • Commercially astute with a clear understanding of pricing, margin, and profitability

  • Skilled in implementing structured sales processes and performance management

  • Confident communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders and partners

  • Experience within a technical or complex product/service environment is advantageous

  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable operating with autonomy
