Pay: 95-115 per day

We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs in a primary school in Liverpool

This role is ideal for someone with a care, residential, healthcare or support worker background who wants to move into a school setting.



The role:

  • Full-time, long-term TA role in a specialist PMLD unit
  • Supporting a small group of pupils with high physical, medical and sensory needs
  • Helping with learning, communication, sensory activities and play
  • Providing personal care (feeding, changing, toileting)
  • Using hoists and equipment (full training provided)
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and medical staff


We'd love to hear from you if you if:

    • Have experience in care, support work, residential settings, healthcare or SEN schools
    • Are confident (or willing to be trained) with personal care and moving & handling
    • Are calm, patient and resilient
    • Can commit Monday-Friday, term-time from January 2026
    • Have the right to work in the UK and are happy to complete an enhanced DBS
