I am partnering with an established and innovative engineering consultancy that is widely recognised for its commitment to sustainable, low-carbon building design. They are now looking to appoint a talented Energy Modeller to support their expanding project portfolio and contribute to the development of high-performance, future-ready buildings. Essential Criteria
Strong, demonstrable experience using IES VE for energy, loads and compliance modelling.
Proven background in conducting overheating assessments in line with TM52/TM59.
Hands-on experience with net-zero technologies, including heat pumps, MVHR, solar PV, high-performance building fabrics and smart energy systems.
Ability to turn technical modelling outputs into clear, concise reports for design and client teams.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently across multiple projects.
Desirable Criteria
Experience with Part L / EPC modelling and regulatory submissions.
Broader dynamic thermal modelling capabilities, including natural ventilation studies, climate resilience assessments and optimisation modelling.
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks such as BREEAM, WELL or LETI.
Exposure to automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python) to streamline modelling workflows.
Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
