Hays Education are working with a primary school in Litherland that is looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to start with them in a long-term role. This role will start as soon as possible.
Your new role
This role involves working 1:1 with a pupil in year 2 that has ASD and has previous trauma. For the right candidate, this will be a long-term role. It will be 08:30-15:30 and full-time.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need a DBS on the update service or documents to apply for one as well as:
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant/with children (references needed)
- Experience working with children with ASD/Autism
- Ability to recognise triggers and find solutions
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable)
