I C Talent is partnering with a highly regarded high school in Liverpool to recruit a skilled and motivated Engineering Teacher

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher with a passion for Engineering and technical education to play a key role in delivering high-quality learning across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging Engineering lessons to students across KS3–KS5, in line with the national curriculum and relevant qualification frameworks (e.g. GCSE, BTEC, A Level).

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning that inspires, motivates, and challenges students of all abilities.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring that all learners are supported to achieve their full potential.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and the continued growth of the Engineering department.

  • Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and pedagogy, incorporating current industry standards and practices.

  • Play an active role in departmental meetings, school initiatives, and wider professional development.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a closely related subject.

  • A strong track record of successful teaching in Engineering, ideally across KS3–KS5.

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to high academic standards.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
