Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the smooth running of schools. The most effective TAs are strong communicators, passionate about supporting children’s day-to-day needs, and able to build positive relationships with staff, pupils and families.
The role of a Teaching Assistant varies from school to school. You may be supporting the teacher in whole-class lessons, running small group interventions, or working 1:1 to ensure children get the support they need to thrive.
We would love to hear from you if the following applies to you!
- You have a passion for supporting and helping children
- You are dedicated to improving outcomes for all children
- You are kind, caring and compassionate
