HR & Payroll Manager
Reporting to the Head of HR, Culture, and Transformation, this role provides guidance and support to line managers across the full employee lifecycle.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of a new integrated HR and Payroll System and contribute to continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the in-house Payroll and Pensions team, ensuring timely and precise processing of monthly salaries and pay claims.

Oversee payroll and pension reconciliations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and pension regulations.

Manage statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, PAYE, and NIC, ensuring correct processing.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes to facilitate a seamless employee experience.

Supervise HR administration, handling offer letters, contracts, and changes to terms and conditions.

Provide expert advice to managers and staff on policies and procedures, ensuring updates are implemented as needed.

Assist in HR processes such as disciplinary actions, grievances, capability assessments, and absence management.

Contribute to HR projects, including the integration of a new HRIS system within the broader HR strategy.

Prepare and present HR and Payroll KPI reports to support data-driven decision-making.
Candidate Profile:

Holds a CIPD Level 5 qualification with proven experience in HR and payroll management.

Possesses strong organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail.

Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.

Upholds confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

Proficient in payroll systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
