Adaptable Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation in Liverpool to find an experienced and proactive People Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping a dynamic people strategy, supporting managers and employees, and delivering high-impact HR initiatives - all within a flexible, hybrid working environment.

As a People Partner, you'll act as a key advisor and hands-on support across the business, with responsibilities including:

  • Providing expert advice on HR matters including employment law, pay, terms and conditions, and policy guidance.

  • Leading on employee relations cases - from investigations to formal procedures - ensuring fair, consistent outcomes.

  • Supporting absence management, including Occupational Health referrals and sickness review meetings.

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle: advertising, coordinating interviews, handling pre-employment checks, and issuing contracts.

  • Ensuring employee data and records are accurate and GDPR-compliant.

  • Taking ownership of a specialist HR area, offering insight and leadership to colleagues.

  • Enhancing the employee experience through inductions, engagement initiatives, and strategic HR projects.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in an HR advisory or generalist role, with strong expertise in employee relations.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice.

  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build strong relationships at all levels.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to continuously improve.
