Packaging Designer

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Designer to join a creative team on a temporary basis (8 weeks) this role may go permanent depending on the candidate.You must be immediately available for work.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design with a focus on packaging, and be highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and the Adobe Creative Suite. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing innovative packaging designs that align with our brand identity and captivate our target audience.Key Responsibilities:Manage concepts from ideation to final production files already in place Work with dyelines and prototypes for various packaging formats Maintain brand consistency across all packaging materials, following templates already in place from start to finish Prepare and deliver print-ready files with precise attention to detail. Liaise with customers managing the process from start to finish Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and sustainability practices. Conduct quality checks on packaging samples and provide feedback for improvements. Reporting into the Head of Graphics, assisting with adhoc admin duties to support the creative team  Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in packaging design or a similar role. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with strong skills in Photoshop, InDesign, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools. Solid understanding of print production processes, colour theory, and typography. Experience working with dyelines, packaging structures, and materials. Strong portfolio showcasing packaging design work. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Hourly rate is £15ph-£18ph, hours 8am-4.30pm, office based in Speke, car park availablePossibility of this role going permanent after 8 weeks if suitable for the candidate.. Please only apply if you have the relevant Packaging Design experience with Adobe and Illustrator..
