Integration Engineer: Join a Growing Team at the Start of Something New
Location: North West (3 days a week in the office)
Salary: Up to £60,000 (flexible for the right person)

We're working with a small but ambitious team who are at the very beginning of building out their integration capability and they're looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join as the third member of the team.

You'll be hands on with integrations from day one, building, maintaining, and enhancing interfaces, monitoring provisioning processes, debugging data issues, and designing robust integration test cases. If you like getting stuck into solving real world tech problems and want to be involved in shaping how a business approaches integration from the ground up, this is your chance.

What you'll be doing:

**Writing and maintaining interfaces (some are brand new, others need expanding)

**Monitoring and debugging issues across integrations

**Designing integration test cases, and doing functional, technical, and performance testing

**Working closely with a small, focused team to build scalable solutions

**Getting your hands a little dirty with C#

What they're working with:

**RTI

**Cloud native architecture, APIs & microservices

**Web services and XML (WSDL, SOAP, API, REST, XML, XSD, XSLT etc.)

**A mixture of legacy systems and modern platforms

**A few local systems you'll help extend and integrate with

You'll need to have at least 2 years of experience working with integrations (inbound, outbound, extensions etc.), and ideally, have worked with an Integration Platform or done some application integration work. You don't need to come from any particular industry, it's all about the mindset and the hands on experience.

Why join?

This is a genuine opportunity to help shape the foundations of how the company handles integrations moving forward. You'll be part of the journey from the very beginning, influencing decisions and approaches, rather than stepping into a finished project. There's no rigid roadmap or hierarchy, just a chance to roll up your sleeves and build something meaningful.

And while there isn't a fixed career progression path just yet, the team is growing, and your voice will matter.

A few extra things:

**2 stage interview process (initial chat via Teams, followed by a final interview either in person or online depending on your location)

**Office based in the North West, hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office

**After your first year, you'll be eligible for a performance related bonus

**Soft skills matter, they're a tech team with empathy, and they value open communication and collaboration

If you're an experienced Integration Engineer who wants to be part of something at the ground level this could be a great fit.
