Your new companyOur client is a well-regarded claimant firm with offices across the North of England. They are currently recruiting for an Advocate Solicitor/Barrister to join their Merseyside office. Your new roleThis Advocate Solicitor/Barrister position will see you provide advocacy on behalf of the firm's legal departments. This will include Stage 3 hearings, Infant Settlement hearings, CMCs, CCMCs and Directions hearings at a range of county courts across Merseyside. All advocacy will be within RTA, including advocacy for hearings including catastrophic injury. You will be involved in expanding the firm's advocacy services to attract new clients. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of advocacy training to trainee solicitors. What you'll need to succeedYou must be a qualified solicitor/barrister. Civil Higher Rights of Audience is not essential, but is preferable. Applicants must have strong claimant RTA experience and a strong understanding of the OIC portal. Ideal applicants will currently be Solicitor Advocates or Barristers, but the firm is open to solicitors who currently conduct a large amount of their own advocacy. Successful applicants will be confident and have an excellent understanding of CPR.What you'll get in returnThis is an excellent Advocate Solicitor/Barrister position where you can expect a broad range of advocacy. A competitive salary of up to £60,000 is available dependent on experience. There is the opportunity to work from home or office when not required in court. Travel can be expensed.
