An esteemed law firm is currently looking for a talented individual to join their dynamic team in Liverpool. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment where your skills and dedication will be highly valued.As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-tier legal advice to clients, managing your own caseload from the outset with the benefit of appropriate supervision and training.

Job Title - Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Location - Liverpool

Salary - Competitive DOE

Your primary objective will be to navigate liability disputes, quantify damages, and secure interim payments. This will enable the arrangement of rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation for clients before claims are finalised. The team is committed to winning cases and enhancing the quality of life for their clients.Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified to 10 years PQE with a background in Medical Negligence
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Commercially aware
  • Capable of working both collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines
  • Able to thrive in a supportive yet pressurised environment
  • Skilled in driving files and achieving the best results for clients and the firm
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain instructions and investigate liability and quantum
  • Advise on funding options
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and court hearings as necessary
  • Continuously assess litigation risk
  • Quantify claims early and draft schedules of loss
  • Liaise with clients providing updates and professional advice in line with the firm’s client care standards
  • Negotiate with third parties and stakeholders to secure the best outcomes for clients
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all firm and client documentation and information
