About the role:

  • Drive the commercial success of the Fleet department.
  • Work closely with the Fleet Commercial Operation.
  • Enhance team performance and support new and existing clients.
  • Maintain company systems with updated files, customer outcomes, and lead and opportunity cycle stages.
  • Ensure accuracy on all data entries and submissions to allow for fluid operation and SLA turnarounds.
  • Action general enquiries, policy adjustments, and billing processes within agreed team KPIs.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and service using a professional communication approach.
  • Meet and exceed team and departmental key performance indicators and budgetary requirements.
  • Manage your own performance to defined targets and deliver continuous improvements in performance and productivity.
  • Support the search for connections to commercial industry individuals and events to source new business development.
  • Support the BDM in maintaining their diary and new business prospects through to new business conversion.
  • Ensure quality and compliance standards are met and a good level of customer service is delivered.

About you:

  • Insurance experience is essential.
  • Account/Portfolio management experience is preferable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and insurance agents.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Problem-solving skills to quickly resolve client issues and find innovative solutions.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge of insurance products, coverage options, and industry regulations.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced changes in the insurance industry.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, detail-orientated, approachable, and able to network and sustain relationships.

Additional Information:

The role is for a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, with a working pattern of Monday to Friday from 09:00am to 17:30pm.

Candidates with experience of; Insurance Agent, Account Manager, Client Relations, Customer Success, Broker, Underwriter, Sales Executive, Business Development also be considered for this role.
