A highly respected name in the construction and property development sector, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Design Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of the design process from initial concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Design Manager in managing and coordinating the design process across all project phases.
  • Work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate efficient communication and document flow.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for compliance, constructability, and alignment with the Building Safety Act.
  • Maintain and monitor design programmes, trackers, and action plans.
  • Help identify and resolve potential design issues early in the process.

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Architecture, Engineering, or a related construction discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in design coordination or assistant design management within the construction or development sector.
  • Understanding of the Building Safety Act regulations and their impact on the design and construction process.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of BIM processes and wider industry standards is advantageous.
