Permanent Site Manager - 55k + Package | High-Rise Residential | Liverpool City Centre

Our Liverpool-based client has established a strong reputation for delivering exceptional commercial and residential buildings across the region. With a robust and continuous pipeline of new work, they are seeking a skilled Permanent Site Manager to oversee a significant 115-unit new-build apartment project right in the heart of the city.

Your Role on Site:

As Site Manager, you will be directly responsible for the successful execution of this substantial residential scheme. You'll ensure the project runs smoothly, safely, to the highest quality standards, and on programme, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring Assistant Site Managers, ensuring effective coordination of all trades and materials.
  • Programme Adherence: Diligently working to programme requirements and proactively managing progress to hit key milestones.
  • Quality Control: Implementing rigorous quality checks and ensuring all subcontractor works meet expected standards.
  • Site Safety: Conducting regular site inductions and Toolbox Talks, fostering and enforcing a high level of health and safety across the site.
  • Issue Resolution: Providing swift and effective solutions to on-site challenges.

Skills & Experience Required:

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Demonstrable experience managing the full lifecycle of building projects valued at a minimum of 15 million.
  • Crucial experience working on high-rise new-build residential or commercial projects.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Essential site qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid.
  • A background from a trade is preferred.
